Terms and conditions of use
This website and associated mobile application is operated by the Biological Records Centre (BRC) as part of the work of the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (CEH). BRC, established in 1964, is a national focus in the UK for terrestrial and freshwater species recording. BRC works closely with the voluntary recording community, principally through support of National Recording Schemes and Societies in the UK (as listed on the BRC website). BRC is a partnership between CEH and the Joint Nature Conservation Committee, and receiving support from the Natural Environmental Research Council (NERC) through National Capability funding. The work of BRC is a major component of the UK National Biodiversity Network.
CEH is part of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), one of nine partners within UK Research and Innovation. For more information visit www.ukri.org and www.ceh.ac.uk
